Please follow the step-by-step instruction to embed WebSpellChecker into your Web Application.
Below you will find a sample set of HTML pages with ready-to-use WebSpellChecker support.

  1. Sign up for spellchecker service
  2. Download & install the sproxy SpellChecker component
  3. Modify HTML code of your page to add spell check functionality

1. Sign up for spellchecker service

Before installing the tool, you are required to register with SpellChecker.net.
If you already have an account you may move on to step 2, if not please sign up for paid WebSpellChecker service or sign up for free trial.

After you have completed the sign up process you will receive a confirmation e-mail with your CustomerID and password.

2. Download & install the SpellChecker sproxy component

WebSpellChecker works by means of a sproxy component. This component will be running on your web server. There are several implementations of this component and you will have to select the one that is most appropriate for the platform of your web server

To add the WebSpellChecker service to your site you will have to install this component.

Note: The sproxy configuration file contains customer-specific information; therefore, borrowing it from another site will be of no use.

Please follow the instructions to install and setup the sproxy component.

3. Modify the HTML code of your page to add spell check functionality
